After years working in healthcare environments, physician and anesthesiologist Dr. Mark Silverberg, DDS, MD experienced firsthand the challenges created by cold operating rooms and temperature-controlled clinical settings. While these environments are essential for patient care and procedural requirements, they often leave healthcare professionals working for hours in conditions that can be physically uncomfortable and mentally distracting.

Rather than accepting the problem as unavoidable, Dr. Silverberg set out to create a better solution.

The result was HEATJAC™—a company dedicated to developing innovative wearable thermal performance solutions that help people remain comfortable, focused, and effective in demanding environments.

What began as a solution for healthcare professionals quickly revealed a broader opportunity. The same challenges experienced by clinicians in operating rooms are shared by countless professionals and enthusiasts working in temperature-controlled, cold-weather, or demanding environments: industrial workers, utility personnel, outdoor professionals, motorcyclists, and recreational users who need thermal comfort without sacrificing mobility or performance.
